Subsea Valley Press Tour, 12.-16. April 2015
Leading oil & gas editors and senior reporters have been invited to visit the subsea cluster in southern Norway and to gather information about the main subsea players and their activities. In addition, the journalists will attend the Subsea Valley (SSV) 2015 Conference, a premier event for Norway’s leading oil and gas businesses.
For participating companies, there are varieties of compelling benefits to get on-board;
- The press tour is a unique opportunity to build relationships with a handpicked group of professional and highly knowledgeable members of the global trade and business press
- To inform these editors about your company’s latest projects, developments and advances in technology
- To position your company as true experts in your specific subsea niche
- To feed the press with relevant sector insight and provide insight into your company’s response to wider industry trends.
- Build the international profile of your company and Subsea Norway.
How does it work?
Each company gets a timeslot of 1 hour with a Q&A session. It is advisable to give the journalists 'news' that hasn't been previously announced to have the best change to secure media coverage. However, if that is not possible, giving the journalists a good insight into your business will still be valuable for building long-term relationships. The session is usually a lively platform for information exchange and meaningful dialogue between executives and journalists.
What media will be represented?
Blue-C has leveraged their extensive press contacts to attract the industry’s leading journalists and editors representing key international publications which may include: Upstream, Upstream Technology, Offshore Engineer, Hart Energy E&P, Ogilvie Publishing, ArcWire, Petroleum Economist, Offshore Industry, IHS Petrodata Global, Maritime Reporter & Engineering News, Pennwell Offshore, G-Captain, amongst others.
What are the costs?
The participating companies, in conjunction with Blue-C and Subsea Valley, contribute towards covering the essential expenses to enable the press tour to take place (namely, hotel accommodation for the entire group, coach with driver throughout the programme, dinners, social gatherings, rental of seminar locations, plus the cost of organizing the entire programme and onsite management).
NOTE: The journalists however cover their own flights to maintain professional objectivity.
